Ring Sizing for a Perfect Fit

Ring Sizing for a Perfect Fit

Don't know your ring size? No problem! You can measure your ring size at home in just a few minutes. For a perfect fit, follow these steps to determine your ring size:

  1. Find a String or Paper Strip: Get a piece of non-stretchable string, dental floss, or a thin strip of paper about 4 inches (10 cm) long.

  2. Wrap Around Finger: Wrap the string or paper strip snugly around the base of the finger you want to measure. Make sure it's tight enough to stay in place but not so tight that it cuts off circulation.

  3. Mark the Spot: Use a pen or marker to mark the point on the string or paper where it overlaps, forming a complete circle around your finger.

  4. Measure the Length: Lay the string or paper strip flat and use a ruler to measure the distance from the end to the mark you made. Measure in millimeters for greater accuracy.

  5. Find Your Ring Size: Compare the measurement to a ring size chart below to find your ring size. If your measurement falls between two sizes, it's usually best to choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

US Ring Size Diameter (mm)
3 14.1
4 14.9
5 15.7
6 16.5
7 17.3
8 18.1
9 18.9
10 19.8
11 20.6
12 21.4
13 22.2
14 23.0

Tips:

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day when it's likely to be at its largest.
  • If you're measuring for a wide band, consider going up half a size to ensure a comfortable fit.
  • Measure your finger 3 to 4 times to ensure accuracy.

Remember that these are general guidelines, and individual preferences may vary.
